Prossy Ahero came to Awinjo House on February 23, 2013. Prossy’s mother died in a road accident, her father is unknown, and she was staying with grandparents who could not pay the school fees for Prossy and her sister Shalom. When Prossy came she had significant health issues, could not swallow, and had not eaten anything for 7 days. We treated her for that and several other minor things, and with good food and hygiene she has recovered fully.
Prossy is a true leader to the younger children at Awinjo House. She is very well behaved, is diligent in her studies, makes good grades in school, and is a willing helper around the ministry. She even acts as a translator when we have a visitor that only speaks Swahili. Prossy has a very sweet personality and is gifted as one of the primary worship leaders.
If you would like to sponsor Prossy for just $36/mo, please click the Sponsor button below to access Prossy’s personal giving page. And 100% of the money that you give will be used to provide Prossy with:
Thank you for your interest in Prossy and all of the children at Awinjo House. Without your encouragement, prayers, and financial support, this ministry could not exist to raise orphaned and vulnerable children to love and serve Jesus in Uganda.
