Geoffrey Owino came to Awinjo House on January 10, 2015. He is from a remote village and does not speak very good English. His father died March 24, 2014. His mother is Akoth Bernadette; she’s 31 years old, has seven children, and no land pepakura designer 4 key to farm or grow crops. Her father in law is allowing her to use one of his houses, but she has no job or way of earning money.
Owino has begun first grade, loves to play football (soccer), and is doing very well learning English. Owino is full of joy, enjoys the Awinjo prayer times, and is close friends with the other boys.
